Lisa Limb is an eggshell artist from Nottingham . After cleaning the egg shells from quails, hens and ducks, they are painted using archival quality acrylics and inks. The shells are then sealed before framed behind glass in quality, acrylic frames. Lisa says “I love how surprised people are that something that would normally be destined for the bin is up-cycled into something new”
Having spent many years teaching art to primary school children, Lisa began selling her egg art locally and now has collections for sale in Nottingham, Newark and London. Her Inspiration is wide and varied from geometric shapes to animal prints and botanicals that are then intricately painted onto the insides of the eggshells.
