I am on a quest to save as much plastic from landfill as possible by turning it into joyful jewellery and whimsical accessories. I create innovative, unconventional materials out of plastic bags, straws, bottle caps and lids and then use these to make my colourful pieces. I also use reclaimed toys, beads and sequins in my work to create really unique, fun items.
I aim to show others that plastic is a precious commodity and not something to be thrown away, we all know that there is no “away”.
I also teach others the techniques I have developed, through my Plastic Workshop membership. I make step by step instructional videos, demonstrating how I make my pieces and I hope to inspire others to have a go too.
